Having fun with alpacas is what it's all about ! At the recent Southern Select Alpaca Show in Shelbyville, Tennessee, Starr Culberson (my granddaughter) and Mr. Chandler won second place award for their Sixties Hippies costume! Last year, Starr and Highlander took first for Tinkerbelle and Peter Pan. The Alpaca shows offer other classes for kids such as Showmanship, Obstacle, and Public Relations. There's some stiff competition out there, but there are a lot of kids having fun in the show ring with ALPACAS !
Nicholas and Lily Floied are my alpaca friend "cousins". They fed the alpacas and picked pretty buttercups. I enjoyed the visit...Hope you guys come back and bring the rest of your family!
