Last August I really had a silly accident ! I was petting the little boys, and casually reached across the backs of a couple of the yearlings to pet the sweet face of the third one... when another little guy decided to give me a soft nudge from behind. I went tumbling forward onto the backs of the two in front of me.
"Do not try to ride an alpaca!"
They both jumped and scurried off before I could catch my balance...and soon I found myself sitting hard on the ground. My daughter and granddaughter were there to "carry" me to the hospital where I learned that I would need screws in my hip and leg, and pins and plates in my right wrist.
I'm back at work, but I still need to make a few sales. Christmas is coming! And I probably have some doctor bills to pay too !
